Sadly, it’s that time of month again when we have to say ‘goodbye’ to some of our students who have finished their study part of the program! Amanda, Marci, Angela, Emily and Lucas all joined us in March and have now completed all six modules of the school course.
Congratulations to all five students this month, it has been a pleasure to have you in the classroom and you will be missed. Good luck as you move on to your work practicum for the next six months.
Amanda was kind enough to write a little bit about her experience in Vancouver.
“Finally, it is my turn to graduate, right now I have mixed feelings about graduating! I am happy that I don’t need to work and study at the same time, the sad part is that this is the final countdown before I leave Vancouver, and it’s time to say goodbye to my lovely teachers and classmates. As I get older, I hate the feeling of departure, I’m getting sentimental! I recall the past six months, the first day I didn’t understand what the teacher and classmates were saying. Just because of this, I didn’t dare to speak! Fortunately, the teacher always encouraged everyone to speak their minds, often we discuss current events in the classroom and this is a special learning experience that in the past never happened in my life.
I really appreciate teacher Tyler and Rod and Katherine’s instruction and advice. There is an old saying that goes “All good things come to an end.” I’ll cherish every moment we’ve had together, and I hope to meet you in Toronto or Taiwan. Take care, my friends.”
